Integration Overview

There are multiple ways to incorporate the payment gateway within a website or mobile device. These options vary based upon ease of integration, required resources, features, and additional security.

Transaction Request APIs.

Direct Post API

Merchants that use a Direct Post method should have previously passed a PCI vulnerability scan. It is the simplest integration method for both on-line and non on-line payment applications.

Collect.js

Collect.js will securely capture payment data via access to a popup form  then creates a “token”.  Instead of using bank account data or raw credit card information, the secure token is then used along with the Direct Post API.

No payment information actually touches the merchants web site since the popup form is actually  a separate page hosted by the gateway.  This allows a merchant to reduce  their PCI-compliance footprint with little or no change to the customer experience on the site.

Collect Checkout

By providing a page that lives entirely on the gateway’s server, Collect Checkout can be integrated into most web-based payment workflows and prevents any payment data from ever touching your site.

Mobile SDK

The Mobile SDK supports iOS and Android based devices. These SDKs include a mobile card reader library which simplifies integrations for applications requiring encrypted mobile card readers. Additionally, an end-to-end encryption library is included, allowing merchants to send both swiped and keyed-in payment information without ever touching any sensitive data.

EMV Chip Card SDK

The complexities of interfacing directly with hardware terminals is abstracted by a Windows based software development kit ( The EMV Chip Card SDK )

Three-Step Redirect API.

XML-based API

Although this is an older API and most often only suggested for merchants who aren’t able to use the Direct Post API with Collect.js for a variety of reasons The Three Step Redirect provides a solution for payment processing on the web by using an XML-based API. . This solution is required when a merchant is using Verified by Visa/Mastercard SecureCode (Payer Authentication (VS/MsC)).

Transaction Retrieval API.

Webhooks

Webhooks provide an opportunity for merchants to receive close-to-real-time notifications of events occuring on their account. Meanwhile the Query API allows integrators “pull” information from inside the gateway, however, webhooks “push” the information into the integrator.

Query API

This dataset is useful to build and create in-house reports and analytics. The Query API provides merchants the opportunity to download a very detailed stream of transactional data.

Turnkey Shopping Carts.

QuickClick Shopping Cart

IF you do not have an in-house IT team or a developer on staff, then, QuickClick is a great option for e-commerce merchants. . A button-generator is included, which makes it easy and allows for merchants to create a website link(s) to products and services that have not had any previous software development experience.

Third Party Shopping Carts

There are over 150 shopping carts that have been integrated to the payment gateway. This is the most often used option for merchants needing a full featured, easy to use and turn-key shopping cart out of the box.
